Retail Associate - Tackle Warehouse - Alpharetta, GA

$16.00 - $18.00 an hour

Full time (40 hours/week) preferred; open to part time

This position requires physically reporting to work in Alpharetta, GA.

We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable Retail Associate to help create exceptional in-store experiences while building lasting relationships with our customers.

In this role, you’ll provide warm, professional customer service, assist anglers with product selection and curbside pick-up orders, and maintain an organized, well-presented store through stocking and merchandising. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys talking fishing, learning new gear and techniques.

• Build a foundation for lasting relationships with new customers and foster ongoing relationships with existing customers in the retail store and at associated events.
• Maintain store inventory and presentation via stocking, merchandising, and cleaning.

• Greet customers and offer warm hospitality throughout their visit.
• Provide thorough assistance to all customers in a friendly, professional, helpful and knowledgeable manner, including all Sports Warehouse curbside pick-up costumers.
• Display a comprehensive and current understanding of company policies, procedures, products and services.
• Offer outstanding customer service, meeting customer needs and exceeding expectations whenever possible.
• Maintain store inventory and appearance, engaging in stocking, merchandising and cleaning, either proactively or by assignment.
• Be flexible during busy times by helping fellow co-workers and multi-tasking.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Continuously learn and develop skills, procedures and information relevant to the position.
• Understand resources available to locate answers to product questions.
• Communicate with other departments when necessary, regarding any customer issues.
