The National Account Director is responsible for driving revenue growth through the management and development of key national accounts within the Postcard Cabin portfolio. This role focuses on building strong relationships with clients and leveraging those relationships to maximize sales opportunities. The National Account Director will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives and deliver exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Account Management
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive national account strategy to drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Identify, target, and prioritize key national accounts that align with the outpost’s strategic objectives.
  • Relationship Building
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and decision‑makers at client organizations.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for national accounts, ensuring effective communication and addressing any client concerns promptly.
  • Revenue Generation
    • Drive new business development through proactive engagement with clients, identifying opportunities for growth and upselling additional services.
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements that maximize profitability while maintaining competitive positioning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and revenue management teams to create tailored solutions for clients.
    • Coordinate with property teams to ensure seamless execution of services and optimal guest experiences.
  • Track and analyze sales performance metrics for accounts, preparing regular reports for senior management that highlight account performance and market insights.
  • Adjust sales strategies based on performance data and market trends to ensure revenue targets are met.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and customer preferences.
    • Utilize insights to inform sales strategies and enhance the value proposition for accounts.
  • Contract Management
    • Lead the negotiation and management of contracts with clients, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions.
    • Monitor contract performance and address any issues that arise during the contract lifecycle.
  • Brand Representation
  • Represent the Postcard Cabin brand at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the portfolio and build relationships with potential clients.
  • Ensure that all sales activities align with the Postcard Cabin brand standards and corporate values.

Qualifications:

  • Education
    :
    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience
    : 7+ years of sales experience in the hospitality industry, with a strong focus on managing national accounts or group sales.
  • Skills
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a competitive environment.
    • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
    • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • This position may require frequent travel to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • The National Account Director will work in a dynamic environment that requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands‑on execution.
