ROLE DESCRIPTIONState Farm Alpharetta - Jon Jones Agency is seeking a motivated and ambitious intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in sales within the insurance industry. As a Intern - State Farm Agent Team Member, you will play a vital role in supporting our insurance agents by actively participating in sales initiatives, prospecting new clients, and helping build lasting customer relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the agency in achieving sales targets through prospecting, qualifying leads, and supporting agents in closing new business.
• Engage with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate insurance products.
• Participate in marketing and outreach activities designed to generate new leads and grow the agency’s customer base.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries, policy changes, and billing clarification, with a focus on identifying sales opportunities.
• Conduct customer-focused, needs-based reviews to educate clients about insurance options and promote relevant products.
• Collaborate with the team to develop innovative sales strategies and contribute to the overall growth of the business.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an undergraduate or post-graduate program throughout the duration of the internship.
• Coursework or strong interest in areas such as Sales, Marketing, Business, Insurance, Financial Services, or Real Estate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an interest in building relationships and influencing others.
• Self-motivated with a passion for sales and a drive to achieve results.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet deadlines and sales goals.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
