Position Summary
Arclin is seeking a highly motivated Territory Sales Manager
- FirePoint to drive market growth and product adoption throughout Northern California and surrounding territories. This is a hunter-focused role responsible for developing new business opportunities, expanding market presence, building customer relationships, and driving specification and adoption of FirePoint products across the construction industry. If you have construction or building materials sales experience, strong industry relationships, and a passion for winning new business, this is an opportunity to join a growing organization and help shape the future of an emerging product line while working directly with senior leadership.
The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial sales professional who thrives on creating opportunities, establishing relationships, and building a territory. This position will play a key role in expanding FirePoint's footprint by working closely with dealers, distributors, contractors, builders, architects, and other industry influencers.
This role is a growth-focused, business development position rather than a traditional account management role.
- Drive new business development and customer acquisition throughout the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute territory growth plans to achieve sales and market expansion objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with builders, contractors, dealers, distributors, architects, engineers, and other industry stakeholders.
- Create market awareness and drive demand for FirePoint products.
- Develop project pipelines and manage opportunities from specification through project completion.
- Conduct product presentations, educational sessions, and technical training programs.
- Support dealer, distributor, and stocking partner growth and engagement.
- Generate downstream demand that creates pull-through sales opportunities within distribution channels.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, customer meetings, and jobsite visits.
- Serve as a trusted resource to customers regarding FirePoint product applications and benefits.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity tracking, and territory reporting.
- Achieve sales activity, customer engagement, and growth objectives.
Required
- 3-5 years of experience in construction, building materials, or related industrial sales.
- Proven success developing new business and growing market share within a territory.
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout the territory.
- 3-5+ years of building materials or construction products sales experience.
- Existing relationships with builders, contractors, dealers, distributors, lumberyards, and construction industry decision-makers.
- Experience selling through dealer and distributor channels.
- Experience with specification selling or influencing product selection decisions.
- Experience managing large geographic territories.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong hunter mentality who enjoys creating opportunities, establishing relationships, and building business from the ground up. Product-specific knowledge can be learned; industry relationships, business development experience, and a track record of growing territory sales are the most critical success factors.
Preferred Industry Backgrounds and Experience from the following industries is highly desirable:
