Job DescriptionA security officer in this role will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. As a patrol officer, you will deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. You will interact with staff and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and uphold our values of teamwork, integrity, and innovation while supporting a secure environment.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity in technology, media, or telecom settings.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
- Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits and verifying credentials as required.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.
- Follow post orders and instructions provided by site supervisors and Allied Universal management.
- At least 2 years of security-related experience.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
