Barranco is hiring Technician I (Apprentice Technicians) to join our growing Field Operations team. This is an entry‑level, paid training role designed for individuals who want to build a long‑term technical career in beverage, ice, and food service equipment.

As a Tech I, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians, learn industry‑recognized skills, and complete structured training through Barranco University. If you’re dependable, coachable, and willing to learn, this role offers a clear path to promotion, certifications, and higher pay. No prior industry experience required — we train the right people.

• Assist senior technicians with beverage, ice, and hot equipment installations
• Help with preventive maintenance (PMs) under supervision
• Stage tools, equipment, and materials on jobsites
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
• Learn system components, basic electrical concepts, and sanitation standards
• Use company systems for job documentation (training provided)
• Follow safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times

• Paid onboarding and hands‑on field training
• Barranco University (BU) Phase 1 training program
• OSHA‑10 certification (company paid)
• EPA Certification preparation (required for promotion)
• Clear promotion path to Technician II based on skill and readiness — not time

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Mechanical aptitude or interest in hands‑on work
• Positive attitude and coachable mindset
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely
• Comfortable working in customer environments
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• No prior technician experience required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work on ladders and in tight spaces
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and use hand tools throughout the day
• Willingness to travel and work field rotations as scheduled
