As a Diesel Mechanic at WM you’ll receive pay and benefits such as a starting hourly wage and comprehensive healthcare, with additional growth opportunities and a company-murchased 401(k).
Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts.
- Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
- Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
- Safety checks on vehicles; uphold safety as the number one priority for employees and communities.
- Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
- Assist senior Mechanics in project work.
- Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and safety procedures.
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Be over 18 years of age.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Location & Schedule- Hours:
Monday – Friday, start at 12pm-10pm, no weekends. - Location:

- Starting salary of $28-$30.00 per hour depending on experience.
