Role Overview — We are looking for a Backend Developer to develop, optimise, and maintain scalable backend systems.

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications.
• Design, implement, and optimise RESTful and Graph
  
  QL APIs.
• Work with relational and No
  
  SQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement security best practices, authentication, and data encryption techniques.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, Dev Ops, and product teams to deliver seamless integrations.
• Optimise backend processes for performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Stay up to date with emerging backend technologies and best practices.

• 3+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, Java, or Go.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in database management (Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL, Mongo
  
  DB, or Dynamo
  
  DB).
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of API security, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and data encryption.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and Dev Ops practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

• Knowledge of serverless computing and event-driven architectures.
• Exposure to automated testing and test-driven development (TDD).
