As a Sr Software engineer, you will execute on product’s vision for a modern, frictionless, scalable, API first and persona-driven customer identity and access management system, which collectively result in the best end-to-end Life & Annuities solution in the industry. You will partner with fellow engineers to create a reusable, predictable, and discoverable design and development framework allowing rapid, consistent, and maintainable customer authentication and authorization solutions.

We are seeking a team player with leadership experience, exceptional users and API security skills, and a proven track record of successful delivery.

• Design and implement API policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Develop enterprise API solutions using an industry leading API platform (Kong).
• Help junior developers to make sure that the enterprise API solutions are implemented correctly and in a timely manner.
• Integrate the enterprise CIAM solution for all internal and external APIs.
• Collaborate with CIAM team to extend its capability to serve our clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field.
• 8+ years of software development experience using Type Script frameworks like NestJS.
• Working knowledge of implementing OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect protocols.
• Experience in building industry standard APIs.
• Experience in API governance, versioning, and API APM.
• Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.
• Working knowledge of common Dev Ops tasks (Environment provisioning, CI/CD Pipelines, and application monitoring).
• Excellent work ethic. Ability to work and travel independently. Effective strategic thinking skills.
• Expert level communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. Expert level troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to influence, lead, and work as part of a cross-functional, distributed team.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Zinnia offers excellent career progression and competitive compensation with the goal of retaining and growing talented team members. The salary range for this role is a good faith estimate; it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations. The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive salaries that align with the individual’s skills, education, experience, training, and geographic location.

The range may vary above or below the stated amounts.
