AI​/ML Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an AI/ML Engineer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY / Alpharetta, GA
. Candidates must have strong expertise in LLM engineering and multi‑agent workflows, while also implementing robust RAG pipelines and enforcing security guardrails.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $60/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design, develop, and product ionize agentic AI systems that autonomously plan tasks, call tools, and reason over structured and unstructured data.
• Architect and implement tool‑using agents with capabilities like routing, planning, reflection, and memory/state management.
• Build multi‑agent workflows using frameworks such as Lang Graph, Auto Gen, or CrewAI to enable collaborative AI processes.
• Develop robust Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, including indexing, hybrid search, and reranking, ensuring citation‑first outputs.
• Enforce safety and compliance guardrails, including prompt/policy templates, PII redaction, and structured outputs (JSON/Pydantic).
• Perform data science and ML tasks such as feature engineering, model selection, error analysis, and combining symbolic rules with learned models for reliability.

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with hands‑on work in LLMs and agentic AI systems.
• Proven expertise in building multi‑agent workflows and tool‑using agents using frameworks like Lang Graph, Auto Gen, or CrewAI.
• Strong proficiency in Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques and enforcing AI safety guardrails.

$53.00 to $60.00 per hour.
