Java Fullstack Developer

Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Java Full Stack developer. This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate day‑to‑day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems, build applications, interface between applications, and understand data security, retention, and recovery.

The role holder should be able to research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology‑specific best practices and standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including reliability, cost‑effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability, and scalability; and contribute expertise on significant application components, programming languages, databases, operating systems, etc., while guiding and mentoring the team during the build and test phases.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Communicating via telephone, email or face to face is required; travel may be required as per the job requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (or consider three years of progressive experience in lieu).
• At least 4 years of information technology experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer‑based visa sponsorship.
• Experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Experience in front‑end frameworks Angular or React.

• Experience in Kafka messaging.
• Database expertise: SQL (SQL Server, DB2) and No
  
  SQL (Mongo
  
  DB, Cassandra).
• Experience with CI/CD tools:
  Jenkins, Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating with external systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of security best practices: OWASP and authentication/authorization (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple stakeholder environment.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment.
