Senior Platform Engineer

• Responsibilities. Responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of our platform infrastructure. Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) to ensure successful delivery of software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. Build and review software components that are highly performant, scalable, and easily maintainable. Develop and enhance software programs and data structures that meet business objectives.
  
  Design, develop, test, and refine software deliverables. Review and create system, software, and functional design specifications. Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications. Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support. Stay current with emerging technologies and tools to ensure the continuous improvement of our platform infrastructure.

• Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field of study plus 5 years of related experience required. The company will also accept a Master’s degree and 2 years of related experience.
• Work Experience. Five years of experience must include:
  Java or Node Js or Python
  ; OOAD – Object oriented analysis and design; OOPs;
  Cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP or Azure;
  Integrated Development Environments including Ecliple, visual studio or intellij;
  Server-side application frameworks (Django, express or Springboot);
  Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML;
  Unit testing frameworks, including Junit, Jest or Mocha;
  Relational databases such as MySQL, AQL or postgress;
  Jenkins or other continuous integration/continuous delivery products;
  Version control including GIT or SVN; and Design patterns including singleton, factory or observer.
