Lead Applications Development

This is a full-time onsite role based in the location(s) posted and is performed from the designated work location five days per week. No relocation is offered.

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Software Developer/Application Developer to design, develop, test, maintain, and support enterprise software applications aligned with business objectives and user needs. This role delivers high-quality, scalable solutions across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, software development, testing, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and ongoing application support.

The ideal candidate has strong full-stack development experience with modern web technologies such as Angular and/or React; backend technologies such as Node.js and Python; API development; and relational and non-relational databases.

Experience with cloud-native development, continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices, and modern data platforms such as Databricks and/or Snowflake is highly desirable.

As a recognized technical expert and subject matter expert (SME), this individual will lead complex initiatives, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor team members, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and advance application modernization efforts. The role requires strong problem-solving and strategic-thinking skills, along with the ability to influence technical direction while supporting successful project delivery and operational excellence.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Software Development:
Design, develop, code, and test software applications that meet business requirements and user needs.

Application Maintenance and Optimization:
Maintain and enhance existing applications to resolve defects, improve performance, and ensure compatibility with evolving technologies.

Requirements Analysis and Documentation:
Partner with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and user stories, and create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Quality Assurance and Technical Support:
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing, and provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with business, product, architecture, data, infrastructure, and other technology teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Project Leadership:
Lead complex development initiatives, manage priorities and dependencies, identify risks, and support timely delivery.

Technical Leadership:
Provide technical guidance, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor less-experienced team members, and stay current with relevant industry trends and technologies.
