Financial

Level I: 0-2 Years of Experience. Analyzes and reconciles accounts. Prepares and annotates variance reports. Works with operating plans to create supporting financial budgets. Performs research to understand the accounting consequences of alternative approaches. Role requires a thorough knowledge of accounting and finance principles, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present financial analysis to management. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/Word software and have a working knowledge of popular financial management applications.

SAP experience a plus.

• Ensures adherence to financial guidelines and standards.
• Reviews monthly report for complex order accounting per FERC guidelines to ensure O&M and capital costs are accurately allocated.
• Audits and approves vendor invoices for accuracy and SOX compliance.
• Prepares and processes journal entries in SAP.
• Corresponds with vendors to gather monthly accrual data, prepares proper accrual documentation, and submits to Accounts Payable.
• Audits data dashboard daily for order O&M costs that belong to capital per FERC guidelines.

• Requires 4-year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

• Requires 2-5 years of related experience.
