Rental Technician - Palisades

Job Summary:

Responsible for outfitting all guests with rental equipment suitable for their needs and explaining safety features. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Please note these positions are located at Palisades Tahoe and are not remote.

Hourly:
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel.

The range listed is just one component of Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits. Base hourly pay range: $20.00 - $25.92 per hour.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

• Provide exceptional customer service to all customers and employees.
• Greet and assist guests promptly upon entering the store.
• Demonstrate product knowledge for retail items and rental fleet.
• Assess guest needs through effective questioning and recommend appropriate equipment.
• Size guests for boots and ensure proper fit.
• Advise on ski, pole, or snowboard sizing based on guest's ability and physical attributes.
• Maintain binding certification and adjust bindings according to manufacturers’ guidelines.
• Ensure accurate completion of rental contracts.
• Educate guests on the operation and safety features of rental equipment.
• Operate the RTP POS system proficiently.
• Inspect returned equipment for damage and proper condition.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and express gratitude upon departure.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and organize equipment storage.
