Tax Supervisor

Tax Senior / Tax Manager – CPA Required/Preferred

New CPA firm in the Pasadena area is seeking a Tax Senior and a Tax Manager. Competitive pay, benefits, and a supportive environment.

Base pay range: $85,000–$140,000 per year.

• Prepare complex tax returns and perform tax research
• Respond to tax notices from taxing authorities
• Review client tax information and meet or contact clients regarding general or complex tax questions
• Recognize, anticipate, and resolve tax issues and make recommendations
• Adapt to the firm's practices, policies, and culture

• 3–5 years of prior experience
• CPA certified or CPA candidacy preferred
• Strong organization, problem‑solving, and analytical skills
• Diligent work ethic and dedication to providing superior client service
• Excellent communication skills – oral, written, and interpersonal, with ability to convey information clearly to upper‑level team members and clients
• Strong client engagement skills
• Proficiency in corporate, partnership, and individual tax planning and compliance
