MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Field Technician to join our team in Altadena, California. This is a temporary position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Resolves a broad range of technical issues in support of customer's computer and mobile hardware, software and network related issues
* Install, configure and troubleshoot software
* Maintain and update records and tickets using Service Now
* Provides support on an as needed basis outside of normal business hours
* Learn customers hardware and software environment to assist in manufacturing and fabrication support
* Alerts management to issues that may require escalation with details of the situation
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or associate degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
* Experience using the Service Now problem/ticket management systems
* Strong understanding of Apple 15.3.1 Sequoia
* Experience with desktop imaging process and provisioning and managing computers in an Active Directory environment
* Familiar with Windows 11, Linux-Red Hat 7, Apple Jamf, Personal Identification Verification (PIV), Two Factor Authentication
* Familiar with PIV (Personal Identification Verification), TFA/RSA (Two Factor Authentication), and supporting Mobile devices and (Apple and Android OS)
Preferred Qualifications:
* At least one Technical Certification such as:
* Apple (ACMT, ACSP)
* Windows (MCSE, MOS)
* CompTIA A+ Security Clearance Requirements:
* Must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing and able to obtain a Public Trust prior to starting this position
Physical Requirements:
* Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
* Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
* The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and clients, which may involve delivering presentations ad must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
