Field Technician

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Field Technician to join our team in Altadena, California. This is a temporary position.

• Resolve a broad range of technical issues in support of customer computing and mobile hardware, software, and network related issues.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot software.
• Maintain and update records and tickets using Service Now.
• Provide support on an as-needed basis outside of normal business hours.
• Learn customers' hardware and software environments to assist in manufacturing and fabrication support.
• Alert management to issues that may require escalation with details of the situation.

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university, or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience using the Service Now problem/ticket management systems.
• Strong understanding of Apple 15.3.1 Sequoia.
• Experience with desktop imaging, provisioning, and managing computers in an Active Directory environment.
• Familiarity with Windows 11, Linux-Red Hat 7, Apple Jamf, PIV, and Two-Factor Authentication.
• Experience supporting mobile devices (Apple and Android OS).

• At least one technical certification such as Apple ACMT, ACSP;
  Windows MCSE, MOS;
  CompTIA A+.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
• Must constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
• Frequently communicates with coworkers, management, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
