In this role you will be responsible for providing a variety of fresh and unique meat items to our customers. A Meat Cutter assists with answering questions and special orders, while maintaining a positive and friendly, customer‑focused work environment. You practice safe food handling procedures and possess a high level of product knowledge and preparation techniques. If you have a friendly and outgoing personality, a passion for food, and enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment, this is the position for you.

• Works safely at all times and follows all established safety guidelines and procedures.
• Receives, unloads, and stores product delivery; breaks down, trims and packages beef, pork, lamb, and poultry products.
• Prepares specialty merchandise such as sausage, ready‑to‑cook products, and cured meats.
• Explains cooking techniques for all meats and cuts to the customer.
• Responds promptly to customer needs and questions, and requests assistance when necessary.
• Performs other duties as required or requested by management.

• Able to work prolonged periods of time in an environment with fluctuating temperature ranges.
• Able to stand prolonged periods of time.
• Able to frequently lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
• Available to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends & holidays.
