Retail Sales Associate - Part time

Position Summary

Part-Time Retail Sales Associate – First Cash. We are seeking entry-level, part-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the team to ensure customer service on both lending and retail sides. The role involves greeting, engaging, and interacting with customers to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The associate works with a variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more.

The position offers hourly pay plus commission based on productivity.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures.
• Keep the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Conduct sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Handle cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answer incoming calls per company standards.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers to provide a positive customer experience.
• Collaborate with all staff to deliver a memorable customer experience.
• Complete required training and other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable).
• Minimum age 18;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong desire to serve customers, work with people, and be team-oriented.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; basic math skills; cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to work at multiple locations as needed; flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy and ability to operate POS systems.

The commission incentive plan is proprietary to First Cash. Pawnbrokers have the potential to earn 2-8% commission based on personal performance. Details provided during interview.
