Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

The associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and much more.

Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate (Full-Time)

Base pay range: $14.00/hr - $17.00/hr

• Commission: earn commissions based on productivity (2%–8% depending on personal performance; actual pay varies by location and qualifications).
• Possibility to earn unlimited commission above base rate.

• Established retail hours: most stores open 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; some stores closed on Sundays.

• Greets and engages customers to develop rapport and provide appropriate financial solutions.
• Perform non-management open/close procedures and maintain a clean, stocked sales floor.
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements; handle cash and negotiable items properly.
• Answer incoming calls and communicate clearly about pawn and buy transactions.
• Collaborate with coworkers to deliver a positive, memorable customer experience.
• Complete training and perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform duties for extended periods; flexible to work locations as business needs dictate.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (as applicable to location).
• Minimum Age: 18 years old;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer-service orientation and teamwork; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math, cash handling experience preferred; POS system literacy required.
• Willing to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
