Personal Tax Senior

Our client, an independent firm of Accountants in Alton are looking to hire a Personal Tax Senior to join the business.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing tax team, managing your own portfolio of personal tax clients while working closely with experienced managers and partners on a range of advisory work.

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including high-net-worth individuals, directors, sole traders and partnerships.
• Preparing and reviewing Self Assessment tax returns.
• Providing advice on Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and personal tax planning matters.
• Handling HMRC correspondence and enquiries.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Assisting with ad hoc advisory projects and supporting junior members of the team where required.

• ATT qualified, CTA qualified or studying towards CTA (or qualified by experience).
• Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of personal taxation.
