Clark Wood are currently recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice based in Alton, Hampshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA / ACCA part-qualified, finalist or experienced Semi Senior looking to develop their career within a supportive firm offering a varied client portfolio, strong technical exposure and genuine progression opportunities.
The successful candidate will gain experience across both audit and accounts, working with a range of clients including owner-managed businesses, SMEs and corporate entities.

As an Audit & Accounts Semi Senior, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with and managing audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and other entities.
• Preparing corporation tax computations and supporting with tax compliance work.
• Working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure deadlines are achieved.
• Reviewing work completed by junior team members where required.
• Developing strong relationships with clients and acting as a key point of contact.
• Supporting with ad hoc assignments, advisory projects and due diligence work.
• Contributing to the continued development and success of the wider team.

• ACA / ACCA part-qualified, finalist or qualified by experience.
• Previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice.
• Exposure to audit, accounts preparation and corporation tax.
• Strong attention to detail and good technical ability.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A genuine desire to progress and develop within a growing accountancy firm.

• Salary of £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
