Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a well-established and highly regarded independent firm of Chartered Accountants who are looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior / Senior to join their growing team in Alton.The Role

You will work with a varied portfolio of business and personal clients, with responsibilities including:

• Preparing accounts and tax returns
• Completing bookkeeping and payroll work
• Liaising with clients and responding to day-to-day queries
• Supporting the wider team with general practice assignments
• Identifying opportunities to support and develop client relationships

• AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT (ACA / ACCA trainees and QBE candidates also considered DOE)
• Previous experience within an accountancy practice
• Strong accounts preparation and bookkeeping skills
• Good communication and client relationship skills
• Organised with excellent attention to detail
• Proactive and able to manage your own workload
• Positive team player with a willingness to learn and develop
• Keen to build a long-term career within accountancy practice
