VGC Group are looking for experienced 2x Ground workers to start on a project near Alton, Hampshire. This contract is available to start on 27th August and we can offer ongoing work to a successful candidate.

Groundworker with suitable experience

Your role as a Groundworker will be based in Alton and will consist of:

• Full understanding of duties required for ground works.
• Capable of working to instruction with minimal supervision as part of a team.
• Experience in the site preparation for, bases, foundations and trenches.
• Understanding of drainage, kerbing and slabbing.
• Understanding of working in and around plant.
• Experience in excavating foundations.
• A high level of HSQE awareness.

Based in Alton, you will accrue holiday entitlement and be eligible to join the VGC pension scheme once certain criteria have been met.
