Our Shift Leader rate of pay starts from £14.76 an hour; this increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but you may also work fewer hours (minimum 12).
Availability Window- Sun: 05:30 – 14:30
- Mon: 05:30 – 14:30
- Fri: 14:00 – 23:00

About the roleCustomers are at the heart of everything we do. As a Shift Leader you will help run the store, support colleagues, and deliver a great customer experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Take ownership of running duty shifts, coordinating the team to deliver a clean, well‑stocked store that exceeds customer expectations.
- Be there for customers, listening to them and ensuring they leave the store with what they came for.
- Look for ways to improve service, including coaching colleagues and giving feedback.
- Guide and support colleagues in‑store, ensuring it stays a safe place to work and shop.
- Maintain a great understanding of store performance, assisting managers in delivering actions to improve store operations.
- Lead from the front and set a great example for colleagues.
- Great role model, providing thoughtful customer service.
- Build strong, long‑lasting relationships with colleagues to create a positive team atmosphere.
- Clear communicator, comfortable using various methods to keep the team informed.
- Comfortable taking the lead and overseeing the store in the absence of a Manager.
- Good decision maker, flexible and able to handle change.
- Motivating, inspiring the team to deliver beyond expectations.
- Curious, looking for ideas to serve customers, communities, and the planet better.
