Yard Sales Assistant

Overview

Joining our friendly and hard‑working family as a Yard Sales Assistant
, you will be on the front line dealing with our customers who come into our yard. As part of the branch team you play a vital role in our success by providing first‑class service.

• Build strong relationships with customers, delivering the highest standards of service and being helpful and friendly at all times.
• Process customer orders, load and unload customer and company vehicles, and unload building products from supplier deliveries, then accurately book them in the branch warehouse.
• Use a forklift (full training is provided).
• Maintain safety standards by ensuring a tidy and safe working environment and preventing safety slip‑ups.

• Physically active – the role involves lifting heavy building materials.
• Friendly and outgoing personality, happy to communicate face‑to‑face with customers and to build strong relationships.
• Adaptable, resilient and tenacious with a high level of energy and drive.
• Ability to provide great customer service; other skills can be taught.
