Office Administrator/ Coordinator
About the role
As Plant Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility operates efficiently through the effective utilization of assigned resources. You will perform complex, advanced, diversified and confidential administrative duties, communicate and coordinate with the Administration Manager and other individuals and departments, organize and maintain correspondence, and follow up on pending matters with limited direction. You will provide support to all areas at the plant level, process and coordinate paperwork, maintain and post company publications, and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization, industry, and community.
You will also organize and expedite work through the Administration Manager’s office and initiate follow‑up action.

Responsibilities- Plan Engagement Activities for employee meals and events.
- Chester Monthly/Daily Inventory Reporting and procedures.
- Back‑up to Alton Inventory Coordinator.
- Provide administrative support, including daily and monthly reconciliation to inventory on‑hand balances.
- Verify plant location is in compliance with all inventory cycle counting procedures as defined in SOPs.
- Ensure all shipments are posted and accurate and all required paperwork is verified.
- Monitor outbound consumables for discrepancies and correct reporting (including packaging, not limited to bags, seals, ingredients, and pallets).
- Review inventory movement through computer systems and paperwork.
- Oversee sorting and distribution of mail and prepare outgoing mail/packages.
- Chester – Monitor and resolve Accounts Payable exceptions for items needing goods receipts.
- Maintain the employee trackers for uniforms, shoes and eyewear.
- Answer phones and doors as needed.
- Any miscellaneous printing and laminating.
- Conduct contractor safety training.
- Order/Track plant forms.
- Update Alton IL & Chester IL employee files.
- Update communication board.
- Track and order office supplies.
- Create new badges as needed.
- Monthly visits to Chester.
- Create new hire folders for Alton IL & Chester IL.
- Maintain lock‑out tag‑out pictures.
- Any duties as assigned by manager.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree with 2+ years of office administration experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Analytical, problem‑solving & decision‑making skills.
- High degree of professionalism in English both verbal & written communication.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage priorities & multiple tasks in a deadline‑oriented environment.
- High level of attention to detail and follow‑up skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Inventory – cycle counting / period end knowledge.
- ERP systems knowledge.
- Procure‑to‑Pay experience.
Willing and able to work in a plant environment.
Other considerationsMust be willing to accept accountability and work well in a team.

Chester, IL (if applicable).

Additional Information – CompensationCompetitive market‑driven base pay ranging from $21.10 to $28.17 per hour, with additional earning potential based on experience. Employees are incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and individual results achieved. The targeted bonus plan and percentage amount for this role is 5% annual (OIP).
