We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) specializing in Gastroenterology. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services in the field of gastroenterology. • Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on diagnosis and medical history.
• Perform endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopies and gastroscopies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding treatment options and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
• Participate in medical rounds, case conferences, and other team meetings as required.
• Adhere to all relevant medical protocols, guidelines, and regulations.

• Medical degree from an accredited institution and valid MD license.
• Board certification in Gastroenterology.
• Proven experience working as a Gastroenterology MD in a clinical setting.
• Excellent diagnostic and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and patient needs.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7a-5p

Weekend call shifts

Daily Volume: 15 scopes

Duties:
Scheduled outpatient procedures, ER consults, rounding, etc.

Epic

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
