Full-time CT Technologist – Alton Memorial Hospital (Alton, IL)

BJC Health Care is hiring a full-time CT Technologist at our Alton Memorial Hospital location.

• Full-time; overnight
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• 6:30pm‑7:00am
• Rotating shifts will include responsibilities in general radiology tech exams

Since 1937, Alton Memorial Hospital has cared for residents in Alton, Illinois, and the surrounding communities in a five-county area. Alton Memorial is a full-service acute care hospital offering inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24‑hour emergency care, ambulance services and more. The CT Department has two 64‑slice CT scanners, one with fluoroscopy capabilities, allowing for faster scan times and less radiation dose while maintaining image quality.

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (CT, MRI, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment, and performs quality control.

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on‑call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required.

  Associate or Trade School degree or equivalent.

  IEMA (Illinois only, excludes MRI); RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.

  Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Intravenous Therapy.
