Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant (MA) provides clinical support under the supervision of a licensed provider, performing duties to promote patient health and ensure efficient care delivery. Responsibilities include preparing exam rooms, obtaining vital signs and patient histories, and maintaining accurate documentation. The MA performs clinical procedures such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care tests, and injections, as well as triaging calls and communicating test results with appropriate medical terminology.

• High School Diploma or GED
• No prior experience required, but preferred qualifications include up to 2 years of experience and CPR certification
• Licensure or certification in relevant area of expertise

• Prepare and stock exam rooms
• Record patient vitals and histories accurately
• Perform clinical tasks such as blood draws, EKGs, and injections
• triage patient calls, relay lab results, and assist providers with relevant medical information
