MRI Technologist

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently, and may assist with on-call and portable exams. Cross-training in MRI is encouraged, with registration as an R.T. (R) required if not already MRI registered.

• Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
• Perform imaging studies independently and in various settings, including on-call and portable exams.

• Associate or Trade School education.
• No prior experience required; experience preferred.
• Licenses include IEMA (excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES.
• Preferred: at least 2 years of experience, CPR, and IV therapy certifications.

• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures with attention to quality and safety.
• Maintain patient comfort and ensure proper equipment functioning.
• Participate in call rotation, including weekend coverage.
