Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)or
Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)with 5 years of experience to provide comprehensive respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating respiratory treatments, applying advanced clinical expertise, and serving as a resource within the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures following established standards and policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members through documentation and handoffs.
- Educate patients, families, students, and staff on respiratory treatments and procedures, utilizing diverse teaching methods.
- Support advanced procedures such as ECMO, mechanical ventilation, bronchoscopies, and sleep lab activities as needed.
- Maintain patient safety, ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program;
Bachelor's degree preferred. - Licenses &
Certifications:
Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BLS), Respiratory Care Practitioner, RRT. - Strong clinical, critical care, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and time management skills.
