This Radiology Technologist (PRN) provides general radiographic imaging services to adult and pediatric patients for diagnostic and treatment purposes. They prepare patients and equipment, ensuring proper positioning and instructions, and perform imaging procedures independently, including portable and on-call exams.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients and equipment, communicate procedures professionally with high customer service standards.
- Conduct radiographic examinations accurately in various settings within the hospital.
- Education:
Associate degree or equivalent from a trade school. - Licenses &
Certifications:
Valid Radiology Technologist license, IEMA certification (excluding MRI), CPR certification preferred. - Experience:
No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred. - Additional
Skills:
Ability to perform procedures independently, strong customer service, and professional communication skills.
- Assist in general radiology procedures using CR and PACs technology, including within ED, OR, and hospital floors.
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure quality and safety standards are met.
