• Manage workflow, oversee technicians, interns, and volunteers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Participate in departmental meetings and committees as needed.
• Serve as a medication therapy resource, providing drug information, staff training, and supporting transitions of care.
• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness based on patient condition and organ function, documenting activities accordingly.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and safety within medication use processes.

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required;
  Doctorate preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience; supervisory experience not required.
• Licensed in MO and IL; licensed Pharmacist (RPh) and Medication Therapy Services certification preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with healthcare team.

This role involves managing medication therapy, ensuring safety, and supervising pharmacy support staff, supporting optimal patient care in a dynamic hospital setting.
