Marketing Officer About the Role

Are you a results-driven, creative thinker with a passion for making an impact? We’re looking for an experienced Marketer to join our busy team, leading the marketing for Alton College. This is a varied and exciting campaigns role where no two days are the same. You'll be responsible for creating, delivering and analysing marketing and recruitment campaigns, events and activities that enhance the Alton College brand, generate awareness, and increase market share.

You will be responsible for:

• Manage, implement, and coordinate marketing and recruitment campaign strategies, events and activities to enhance the Alton College offer, generate awareness and increase market share in 16+ audience and their influencers.
• Develop content ideas and create content to work cross-platform with due consideration for both brand effectiveness and audience user journey.
• Present ideas, pitches, and proposals for creative content to recruit 16-18’s and recommend the appropriate channels or mix of channels and expected outcomes. Utilise industry-standard tools and packages to develop, create and produce written video, and photographic content for target audience.
• Manage Alton’s external advertising for 16+ campaigns booking, schedules, deadlines, artwork and scripts ensuring brand management, cost-effectiveness and attention to detail.
• Liaise with external suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and value for money.

You will need:

• A professional marketing qualification e.g. CIM, IDM or working towards this or a relevant degree.
• Experience of running integrated campaigns, online and offline.
• Experience of creating video, for personal or professional social media channels
• Experience of planning and running events.
• Knowledge and experience in using/populating social media platforms including Facebook, You Tube, Tik Tok, Snapchat and Instagram.
