Clinical Nurse – Intermediate Care Unit – Nights (no weekends)

Alton Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse to provide direct patient care in our Intermediate Care Unit during night shifts. This role requires a compassionate professional who can work exclusively on nights and avoid weekend schedules.

Base pay: $30.00/hr – $47.28/hr

• Full 3–12 hour night shifts (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.)
• No weekend work

Since 1937, Alton Memorial Hospital has served the Alton, Illinois, community and the surrounding five‑county area. Our acute care hospital offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgical, diagnostic, cardiac, cancer, rehabilitation, and 24‑hour emergency care.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• RN license required

Provide direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the standards of nursing care.

• Promote patient and family centered care in a healing environment and educate patients and families on illness or injury management and medication administration.
• Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance and engage in professional development.
• Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient or caregiver in accordance with nursing care standards.
• Use critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to nursing standards.
• Maintain a constant state of alertness and work safely as a safety‑sensitive position.

• RN license

• Nursing Diploma/Associate’s (required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)

• No experience required
