- Examine, diagnose, and treat companion animals.
- Use diagnostic equipment, collect samples, and interpret results.
- Advise clients on preventive care and treatment options.
- Perform surgeries and prescribe medications.
- Maintain accurate medical records and uphold veterinary ethics.
- DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA-accredited institution.
- Active or eligible state veterinary license and DEA registration.
- Excellent communication and client service skills.
- Professional, kind, and team-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently (and assist with larger patients as needed).
