Overview
From wellness exams and parasite prevention to surgery and diagnostics, Alton Animal Clinic is there for pets throughout every stage of their life. We proudly care for the dog and cat companions, as well as small mammals, of Alton and the surrounding communities.
Position PurposeCome extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them "practice ready" by their first day in practice.
Externships are typically 2 weeks long and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed.
Length of externship is flexible and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.
Requirements/QualificationsEligibility
- Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School
- Must be able to provide student PLIT
