About the PracticeFrom wellness exams and parasite prevention to surgery and diagnostics, Alton Animal Clinic supports pets throughout every stage of their lives. We care for dogs, cats, and small mammals in Alton and surrounding communities.
Position PurposeCome extern with us! Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program provides veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to prepare them for practice. Externships typically last 2 weeks, and Heartland covers lodging costs if needed. The length of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation.
Requirements/Qualifications- Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA-accredited veterinary school
- Must be able to provide student PLIT
