Starting Hourly Rate: $15.75 USD per hour. Pay range: $15.75 - $23.65 USD per hour.

ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those seeking a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM, you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you may create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members via the myTime mobile scheduling app. Reliable and prompt attendance is necessary.

Active engagement by picking up and working shifts once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours) is expected. Flexibility can be granted in certain circumstances, but you must respond to our contact attempts to confirm your interest in working shifts  you do not respond, employment may be terminated. If you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, employment will be administratively terminated.

There is a required Welcome orientation and a short-term structured training schedule. Afterward, the myTime app is used to pick up shifts.

ALL ABOUT SERVICE & ENGAGEMENT Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Knowledgeable about in-store and digital services and solutions that drive adoption and guest loyalty. Responsible for fast and accurate service at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up.

As a Guest Advocate, you may perform the following responsibilities:

• Communicate and interact with guests to build an inclusive guest experience
• Problem solve and make decisions to positively impact the guest experience
• Adapt to different guest interactions and situations
• Promote and explain benefits, offerings and services

Typical Day A typical day may include the following responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a service culture and deliver the service standard
• Greet guests as you assist with daily tasks
• Assist guests to solve their specific needs
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve issues
• Thank guests and acknowledge their visit
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Inform guests about current brand launches, store activities and events
• Explain the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with enrollment; be familiar with fulfillment services
• Explain wallet and Target App features
• Handle returns following policies, escalating to leadership as needed
• De-escalate situations with leaders as needed
• Provide easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests
• Maintain a clean work area and stock supplies during store hours
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely and report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-up orders and returns with compliance
• Support cash office processes as needed
• All other duties based on business needs
