Full Time Security Officer – Belleville, IL

Base pay: $16.00/hr – $18.00/hr

Full‑time, shift work (includes 2nd and 3rd shifts, weekends and holidays). Day shift positions are not available. Interviews are held in‑person every Thursday 10:00 am‑11:00 am at 141 Market Place, Suite 108, Fairview Heights, IL 62208. Proper interview attire required.

All candidates must complete a pre‑employment screening process, including drug testing (mouth swab and/or urine) for THC and a background investigation.

• Minimum 18 years of age to qualify for a PERC Security Officer License in Illinois.
• Physically able to walk on uneven terrain, up/down stairs; position requires 75–80% standing/walking.
• Position may be up to 75–80% outside.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; position includes driver certification.
• High School Diploma, GED, or willingness to complete GED within 6 months.
• Average computer skills (above average a plus).
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Security, law‑enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Reliable transportation (public transit unavailable).
• Reliable cell phone with working communication device.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills a plus.
• Professional interaction with a wide range of individuals.
• Strong diligence and vigilance throughout shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid, effective judgment and proper de‑escalation.
