Production Worker 3rd Shift – The Marzetti Company

Overview
Shift: Sunday – Thursday 11:00 pm – 7:30 am
Pay Range: $19.00–$21.00 per hour

Inspector>
- Inspect raw materials, processed, and frozen precooked pasta at various processing steps to ensure quality standards.
- Verify product is not under‑cooked, over‑cooked, miss‑shaped, or thawed.
Processor
- Shape, stack, and roll cheese‑filled lasagna rolls or sandwiches to conveyor system.
- Mix and blend powder and granular ingredients for dry mixes.
- Mix dough batches for processing lines.
- Assist with daily equipment, utensils, and line sanitation.
Packer
- Ensure the correct product is placed in the correct bag and final shipping container.
- Sort, stack, and orient product to fit in finished case.
- Fill and weigh frozen pasta pieces to appropriate case or tote weight per customer requirements.
- Ensure all packages are properly coded before packing.
- Assist with daily equipment, utensils, and line sanitation.
Palletizer
- Check pallets to ensure they are in good condition for loading product.
- Verify all box codes are complete, accurate, and legible.
- Stack boxes on pallet using correct product configuration.
- Obtain powered pallet truck qualification.
Food Safety and Quality Responsibilities
Apply food safety and quality principles as described in the Marzetti Corporate Food Safety and Quality Manual and internal Marzetti Frozen Pasta policies, training, and procedures in all applicable aspects of departmental and job functions.
- At least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- Pass pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Willingness and ability to learn computer data entry, payroll, attendance, manufacturing, and inventory tracking systems.
- Candidate must be able to pass both a background check and a drug screen.
