Job Overview

Prairie Vista Village is a boutique senior living community offering independent, assisted, short‑term rehab, and long‑term care. We are seeking an LPN to provide direct resident care on a full‑time night shift (10:00 pm‑6:30 am).

• Assess and implement nursing interventions in accordance with federal, state, and company standards.
• Make daily rounds to all residents to ascertain condition and comfort.
• Initiate procedures to protect residents from injury and infection.
• Assist DON/RN with developing, implementing, and evaluating plans of care for spiritual, emotional, psychosocial, and functional factors.
• Encourage and assist with restorative care in self‑care and group activities.
• Monitor nursing personnel compliance with policies and procedures and competency of clinical skills, evaluating nursing staff performance with direction from DON.
• Communicate with the physician as indicated by resident needs or status and assure follow‑through; maintain hand‑off communications with oncoming shift regarding resident care needs.
• Oversee direct care staff and ensure staff complete tasks and care as assigned.
• Speak, read, and write English in an understandable manner.
• Apply basic general math principles.
