Adventureland Park - Park Services Lead

Adventure land, 3200 Adventure land drive, Altoona, IA 50009, United States of America
** Supervisory Duties:
** Lead by example, attitude, and as a representation of Adventure land’s core values

Become knowledgeable of performing the essential duties of all Park Services positions and backfill these positions when needed
** Departmental Duties:
** Operate golf-carts, vehicles, or other motorized equipment to perform daily duties Courteously resolve guest questions and concerns, and assist with lost children Ensure that all hosts have necessary supplies to successfully perform duties

Ensure ADA standards are met in each location All other duties and special projects assigned by leadership
** Language:
** Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English;
Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

* Education and Experience:

** High School education preferred;
Equivalent work experience will be considered1+ year of previous Park Service, grounds, or housekeeping work experience desired
** Requirements:
** Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays  Ability to safely and efficiently operate motorized vehicles and equipment

Ability to comply with all uniform policies

Ability to safely and properly use a variety of cleaning equipment, including brooms, mops, and chemicals

Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner

Ability to follow direction, multi-task, and work as part of a team as well as independently

* Physical Requirements:

** Ability to stand, walk, stoop, twist, kneel, bend, or squat for long periods of time Ability to remain on feet for majority of the workday

Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 50 pounds or more Ability to consistently use hands to grasp, control, move objects/tools Ability to see details of objects that are more than a few feet away Working at Adventure land is about making people happy!
