Adventureland Park - Security Agent

* Education and Experience:

** High School diploma, GED, or equivalent;
Equivalent work experience will also be considered1+ year of previous security or related experience highly desired

Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English;
Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.

Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to safely and efficiently operate motorized vehicles and equipment

Ability to comprehend and carry out verbal and written instructions

Ability to apply knowledge of security methods, procedures, interviewing, listening, and note-taking techniques for specific situations

Ability to deal fairly, objectively, and courteously with the public without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, or political beliefs Ability to analyze people and/or situations quickly and calmly and take appropriate actions in a quick and effective manner

Ability to operate a variety of electronic equipment, such as cameras, radios, personal computers, or other communication devices

Ability to professionally and calmly deal with stressful and/or tense situations

Ability to collaborate with other hosts, external first responders, and emergency personnel during emergency situations

Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner

Ability to maintain certifications as required by assignment

Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday Ability to occasionally stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders Ability to walk, stand, or run on uphill, downhill, or uneven surfaces. Ability to remain sedentary for extended periods of time, while using a computer/camera equipment

Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 30 pounds or more Ability to see details of objects that are more than a few feet away This role will be based in both an office setting as well as frequent exposure to all other indoor and outdoor park environments
