The Construction Superintendent oversees daily operations at construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role coordinates subcontractors, enforces quality standards, and maintains compliance with safety regulations.

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities.
• Coordinate schedules and work assignments for subcontractors and labor crews.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Monitor progress and quality of work; address issues promptly.
• Prepare and maintain daily logs, reports, and documentation.
• Schedule inspections and ensure compliance with building codes.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in construction software (Procore, Autodesk, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• 5+ years in construction supervision, preferably in commercial or industrial projects.

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Experience in concrete specifically is a bonus.
• 1–5 years of experience as a Superintendent managing subcontractors.
• Experience working at a General Contractor overseeing the whole project.

The role involves working on‑site managing construction projects, all located within approximately a 90‑mile radius of the office in State College. The company offers a family‑owned atmosphere with a great culture.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Altoona, PA.

The pay range for this position is $36.00–$46.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
