Are you detail-oriented with a passion for precision, consistency, and continuous improvement? Blair Image Elements is looking for a dedicated Quality Technician to join our Quality team and help ensure every product we deliver meets the highest standards of excellence. In this role, you'll perform inspections, audits, and tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. You'll collaborate closely with production, engineering, and management teams to identify and prevent defects, maintain compliance with customer and company specifications, and promote a culture of quality across the organization.

What you’ll be doing :
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections on raw materials, in‑process components, and finished products.
  • Verify product conformance to engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for nonconformances.
  • Identify and report defects, deviations, or process concerns to supervisors and quality engineers.
  • Conduct random in‑process audits and participate in final inspections prior to shipment.
  • Use and maintain inspection tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges.
  • Assist with calibration and upkeep of inspection tools and measuring devices.
  • Support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives across production areas.
  • Collaborate with production teams to reinforce quality standards and best practices.
  • Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
What we’re looking for:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
  • 1‑3 years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, or inspection preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with basic inspection tools and techniques.
  • Experience with 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement programs a plus.
  • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, ERP systems).
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods.
