Join to apply for the Guest Advocate role s role supports guest service at checklanes, guest services, and other store functions while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks
• Engage with guests to solve their specific needs and resolve concerns
• Promote and explain current promos, store activities, and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services to resolve issues and improve guest experience
• Inform guests about Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and assist with Target App features (Wallet, Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, online ordering)
• Assist with returns following Target policies and escalate as needed
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and assist with stocking during store hours
• Follow safety policies, report hazards, and maintain a compliant work environment
• Support guest services such as order pick up, drive-up, and related duties while complying with applicable laws
• Perform other duties based on business needs

• Accurately handle checkout operations and basic store duties
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise; frequently lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 44 pounds
• Flexible schedule; reliable attendance
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift
• Work in varying temperatures and conditions as required for Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
