As a family-owned and operated business serving Blair and Cambria Counties since 1951, we believe in doing things the right way, taking care of our customers, and building a team of professionals who take pride in their work.

We're looking for experienced installers who can take ownership of their work, deliver quality installations, and help less-experienced team members develop their skills.

What You'll Be Doing

As an Experienced HVAC Installer, you'll be responsible for installing residential heating and cooling equipment while maintaining Link Service's standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing residential HVAC equipment, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ductless systems.

  • Completing installations safely, efficiently, and in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable codes.

  • Performing necessary ductwork, refrigerant piping, venting, condensate drainage, and other installation-related work.

  • Completing system startup, testing, and verification to ensure proper operation.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving installation-related issues.

  • Working alongside and helping train less-experienced installers.

  • Taking a leadership role on installations based on experience and demonstrated abilities.

  • Maintaining clean, organized work areas and treating customers' homes with care and respect.

  • Communicating professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for individuals who know the trade, take ownership of their work, and want to continue improving their skills.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience, preferably in residential applications.

  • Strong working knowledge of residential heating and cooling equipment.

  • Ability to complete installation tasks independently and work effectively as part of a team.

  • Experience with HVAC piping, ductwork, electrical connections, and system startup procedures within the scope of the position.

  • EPA Section 608 certification appropriate for the refrigerant work performed.

  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company insurance requirements.

  • Strong commitment to jobsite safety and quality workmanship.

  • Dependable, punctual, and able to communicate effectively with coworkers and customers.

  • Willingness to continue learning through training and professional development.

  • Ability to perform the physical demands of residential HVAC installation, including working in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading residential HVAC installations or mentoring assistant installers.

  • Experience with Carrier, Mitsubishi, and Bradford White equipment.

  • Knowledge of hydronic boilers, ductless systems, and multiple types of residential HVAC equipment.

  • Ability to interpret installation instructions, equipment specifications, and applicable residential codes.
